In an exclusive interview with World Boxing News earlier this week, Suggy’s Gym‘s Chad Sugden told Phil Jay that he is ‘absolutely buzzing’ to be still in line to challenge Shakan Pitters for the British Light Heavyweight title, despite the coronavirus delay in the UK.

Looking forward to getting back to full time training, he said: “The start of the lockdown wasn’t too bad but I’m ready for normality now.

“I had a slight thought in my mind that Craig Richards could be reintroduced to fight Shakan, but I’m absolutely buzzing that I’m still in line to challenge him for the British title.  It’s my golden ticket in the business.”
