Chad picked up yet another title on Friday 15 March 2013, when was declared Male Fighter of the Year at the ISKA UK Annual Awards at The Holiday Inn in Birmingham.

Just one week before the biggest fight of his career so far,at the Excel Arena in London, Chad received his award from Peter Aerts, known as The Dutch Lumberjack and widely considered one of the greatest heavyweight kickboxers ever.

“Winning the title and receiving the award from an absolute legend was awesome,” said Chad after the prestigious ceremony.

“When I went up to accept it, he asked ‘What weight?’ and I told him ’70kg’. He laughed and said ‘Very good money, ha ha!’ Not just a legend, a nice man too!”
