Originally scheduled to be held in Coventry back in March, the fight will now go ahead behind closed doors on the Hennessy Sports show on Saturday 22 August, which will be broadcast LIVE and FREE on Channel 5.

“Having the extra time to train and develop our craft is just going to pay dividends, I truly believe that,” said Dean.

Hoping to come out of lockdown with a new belt to add to the extensive collection already on display at Suggy’s Gym, Newark pro boxer Chad asked: “Britain‘s always been known for having great boxers so, if I can be the best in Britain, then what’s going to stop me being the best in the world?”
